Valentin Weÿ is a doctoral candidate at the University of Toronto. His research focuses on German idealism (especially Hegel and Hölderlin), critical theory (particularly Benjamin and Adorno), and the German and French reception of Hegel in the 20th century. His doctoral thesis deals with the intersection between aesthetics and post-Kantian metaphysics.
